It has been a pretty amazing year to watch our swim team here start from scratch, and end up being a very competitive team with so many kids accomplishing B times. (3 of the kids are accomplishing A times!) The coaches have been very committed, and have helped instill a LOVE for this sport within my girls. Last night we had our first swim team banquet---which took up lots of time and energy, but so very worth it. It was a huge success. I'm sad to see the swim season end, but looking forward to it picking up again in the fall....although we lose 3 out of 4 of our coaches. :( We are hoping that we will be able to find great coaches for this young team. Here are a few pics-

And here is a link to our swim team slideshow, it's 8 min. long. It took me a while to remember how to use Elements 8, and now that program is outdated---I think that there is an Elements 10 already. I can't keep up. Anyways---on this topic, also thinking about Lightroom---if you have experience with this program, I would love to know what you think about it.

Friday night---

Okay---so this blog has really just become a place for me to post photos. One of these days, I plan to write more...a lot more. Meanwhile, here are more pics: :) My art class pics--we are now on summer break. I love these kids, and I love seeing how much they've learned in art class---their artworks are amazing me.

I love it that Ella will still play with blocks sometimes. She will set up a city for Gracie's little people and pet shop animals. :)

Gracie has been pretending to make sidewalks of out clean towels, it's kind-of cute, and it kind-of drives me crazy at the same time.

Guam fairy, I found these wings at a store called 'Peggy's'---it's kind-of like a bad, over-priced dollar store, but sometimes they have some neat cheap things---like art supplies and fairy wings. :)

These four girls had an awesome relay time for ages 10 and under. I'm so proud of Ella. Lately her times have improved significantly!

Yesterday was SO hot, but around 3:30, it was the perfect temperature in the shade, so I set up Gracie's pool, and we played outside for about 3 hours. :) I just love how Gracie closes her eyes so tight every time she goes down the slide...

Last night, Scott and I had a date night at the golf course down the street. It was a lovely evening, I can't wait to do it again.
