I just love how Gracie will rest her head on Kate. And just yesterday I realized that Gracie calls out "Ella" whenever she wants Kate or Ella. I think Gracie thinks I named them both Ella....maybe it's because I have to say Ella's name a LOT more....I don't know, but it's adorable. :)

co-sleeping

I'm not a big fan of co-sleeping. We did it very briefly with Kate and Ella when they were babies, and I did not intend for Gracie to still be sleeping in our bed...but lately, Gracie has been very clingy. She usually starts off in the play yard, but ends up in bed with me in the middle of the night. It's just easier for now...at least until Scott gets back. And I love seeing this every morning when I first wake up...

Ella is SO excited to read a book without any pictures. :) She's growing up so fast...chapter books, loosing teeth...makes me a little sad. I'm treasuring every moment because Scott and I already know, it's this one that will make us crazy when she's a teenager. ;)

tooth fairy drama...

About a week and a half ago, Ella lost a tooth. How exciting! I love seeing the little notes that she writes to the tooth fairy...

So, after reading this cute little note, I decided to do this...

I leave her tooth there with $2. Ella runs to my room crying hysterically. Wow, not at all the reaction I expected. She was so emotional---crying, "She didn't have to do that! I really wanted her to have my tooth!" Ack! So, no big deal. We simply left the tooth under her pillow the next night...and the tooth fairy took it away for good.

Just a few days later, another tooth comes out. Ella was very clear with her note to the tooth fairy this time...

Lesson learned. ;)
